Ben Affleck directed this wonderful adaptation of a Chuck Hogan novel a few group of Boston bank robbers who plan to rob Fenway Park. The public persona of the man who played Batman has overshadowed his simple filmmaking talent, evident in how tight and entertaining this movie is from starting to end, in addition to his great work with ensemble.
The opening chase scene options top-of-the-line freerunning scenes put to cinema (okay, maybe District B13 takes that) and contains legendary freerunner Sébastian Focuan. John McClane just desires to reconnect with his estranged spouse. Instead, the poor guy has to struggle a bunch of terrorists, led by a fiendishly endearing Alan Rickman.
