
FILM ART- The film is a medium of communication in the form of audio-visual to convey a message to the general public.
For some people, film art has different definitions, starting from a living picture that has a storyline to the story of a certain character made by the producer.

There are several elements in the film-making process. These elements include:
1. Producer
The producer is the party responsible for everything needed in making the film.
2. Director
The director is the party or person who is most responsible for the process of making a film outside of matters relating to funds or other property.
3. Scenario writer
A film screenwriter is someone who writes a script for a story to be filmed.
The script written by the screenwriter is then worked on or turned into a film by the director.
4. Cameraman (Cameramen)
A camera stylist or what is called a cameraman is someone who is responsible for the process of recording/taking pictures in making films.
5. Artistic Stylist
An artistic stylist is someone whose job is to show artistic taste in a film that is produced.
6. Music Arranger
A music arranger is someone who is in charge or fully responsible for the sound of the music.
7. Editor
The editor has a duty as someone who is responsible for the image editing process.
8. Voice Over And Voice
A voice actor is someone who is in charge of filling in the voice of an actor or film player. So, not all film actors use their own voices in dialogue in the film.
9. Film Cast (Actor and Actress)
Film actors or also known as actors and actresses are those who play or star in a film that is produced.
Types of Film
Referring to the opinion of Effendy (2009: 3-4), the types of films have 3 parts, including the following:
1. Short Films (Short Films)
Short story films are usually under 60 minutes long. So, this film is a test film type and serves as a stepping stone for a person/group of people to later produce feature-length films.
Then, those who produce this type of film are students majoring in film and certain groups who like the world of cinema and want to practice filmmaking well.
2. Feature-Length Films
A feature-length film is a film that is longer than 60 minutes, usually 90-100 in length. Then, this type of film is usually in theaters. Even in some films, the duration can be up to 120-180 minutes depending on the storyline.
3. Documentary Films
Documentary films usually present reality in various ways and of course have various purposes.
Usually, this type of film has the purpose of disseminating information, such as; education and propaganda for certain people or groups.
